Handmade clay and glass beads spread a colorful message of peace upon your wrist. Assembled in Ghana, which has embraced a political philosophy of nonalignment, Pan-Africanism, and regional and international political and economic cooperation since their independence in 1957. A timely reminder of the perseverance of peace from a country that leads by example.
Translucent, pale-blue colored beads alternate with white clay beads hand-painted with peace signs. Strung on a heavy elastic cord, it will fit most wrist sizes.
Bracelet is roughly 8" around (20.3 cm). Handmade in and fairly traded from Ghana.
